DigiCore International was awarded a worldwide BHPB IVMS tender in 2007 and contacted us to assist in order fulfilment. At the time we were trading as Perfekt COM Pty Ltd, one of Victoria’s best known IT infrastructure suppliers. Perfekt COM started a new business unit known as DigiCore Australia and from there the country wide roll-out was done.
Over time we have evolved to become one of Australia’s premium IVMS suppliers and by now we are managing more than 3,000 mining vehicles country wide, including recent installations to Australia’s second largest mining group.
We have installation and support services throughout the country and our most recent project has been the installation of some 350 units into large mines near Clermont in Queensland. We have also started to install tracking devices into ancillary mining equipment such as light plants and pumps, for which we have developed customised software to do fuel management and to ensure that light plants are not wasting fuel by being left running after sunrise.
DigiCore Australia has for now years specialised in mining safety through the provision of regular driver safety reports to our mining customers. Drivers are rated on how they drive and this has translated into a much higher safety awareness and a significant reduction is mining accidents

Accident investigations have in many cases filled in detail regarding the run-up to the accident and our customers have come to rely on us to help them get to the bottom of the risks their drivers put themselves at.
The entire IVMS safety solution is best discussed in a one-day workshop at customer sites and we would encourage you to involve us to do so with your safety staff and also your vehicle maintenance personnel – a direct spin-off from a safer driving style is a reduction in vehicle abuse and the associated costs.
